Re-Engage (Marital Program Review)

My wife Julia and I completed the faith based program Re-Engage and it was amazing. It's a program that invests in marriages and I highly encourage married couples to attend. The program is through Watermark Community Church in Texas and is offered through various churches.

I'm Changing My Content Going Forward....
I am currently enlisted and I want to go the rotc route how can I do that? I heard about a program that'll allow me to go to college before my contract ends and complete the program but im not sure what it's called yet. do I need to wait until my contract ends and also does the Air Force pay for my schooling or will I need to sort that out?
This is much better than getting out of the military early. People who gets out and not retire loses retirement benefits.
Wait until you have to apply for retirement. DFAS relieved itself of the responsibility and no assistance is available when applying. The computer system also never works. Good luck!
Is it permissible for a US Air Force volunteer to be an Cap or no
Can I join the air force reserve and become an officer?
Does the Air Force have "meritorious promotions"? I was meritoriously promoted to Corporal (E-4) a year after graduating recruit training, 15 months TIS. A year later I was meritoriously promoted to Sergeant (E-5), 27 months TIS. If I had reenlisted for a second time, I would have been promoted to Staff Sergeant (E-6), below the line, in six years but wifey had other ideas!
I’m 31 with a bachelors degree and am torn between pursuing a civilian firefighter career or joining the air force. It’s such a tough decision. I think I would prefer being a firefighter as a civilian but there’s no guarantee I get hired. And time isn’t on my side. I’m tired of living paycheck to paycheck in la too as an out of work actor.
You can get a fresh start away from home if you go active duty in the Air Force. Explore the option and see what’s best for you. You can also be a firefighter in the Air Force.
This is valuable information thank u
Hello Hugo, I've been following you for ages and you're an inspiration for this Kid from L.A. I'm in my early 30s now but I'm in the process for AF right now, thanks for all the inspiration for over the years.
Thank you for the kind words. Keep me posted on your progress.
@@yourmilitarymoney just an update, cleared MEPS and just waiting on a job now.
Das est BJUTEFO ❤😂🎉😅
Thank you for your videos I am 35 enlisting into the airforce awaiting meps physical, your first video I watched was joining at 35 and haven’t seen much more on that topic. So again much gratitude.
Sounds good man thanks for your help just wanting to test out if doing gate duty as fast as I can and get on patrol
He's DAF 100% pretty cool
Thank you sir
When I was lost I just brought Bitcoin
I don't have vision either and I'm in my 30s. It's discouraging. Thank you for your message.
Thanks for sharing this
Can you be a reservist overseas? (specifically Japan?)
I wish I got into Bitcoin earlier
When you say civil service do you mean civil air patrol?
No, I mean federal service.
I get My bachelors in criminal justice next year currency a correction officer I want to go in and enlist as officer
How long does it take for an enlist to express interest of wanting to commission as an officer?
Im actually just getting on the 0083 Airforce Police side and wanna know how the academy was? Looks like ill be going to Little rock either in May or June just wanna know was it tough easy are they hands on and want you to succeed if Nick can reach out id appreciate it.
It's 10 weeks long now, V.A.L.E.T.C. has a week of firing, combatives and then mid portion of the duration you get paired up with a partner and have to do role scenerios and pass. I do believe the 1st week was firing and second week was combatives.
Okay sounds good man I leave next month for this training and just wanna start being prepared for this academy. Was testing out of gate duty to go to patrol pretty easy? Or did you not have to do that.
Yeah you get QC or DP what ever terminology ur base uses! You get certified on ECP then patrol. Just look into the AFI 31-115 for FY 2024
Just remember, DAF POLICE is not covered under LAW ENFORCEMENT retirement like USBP, CBP, 1811 FED positions.
Yeah I heard I heard they are trying to get better retirement and all for the DAF police
I already have a Masters in Business Analytics from Notre Dame and am 37, about to turn 38. What are your thoughts on someone coming in with a Grad degree already? Does that factor in at all on your assignment? Would I be looked down upon if I come in as an officer (I’ve always been a fan of “doing the work” and then leading, but not sure I could justify combining in enlisted at my age and stage. It’s obviously not primarily about the money, but even coming in as an officer would be a decrease in salary? Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
The advanatage of using Ute Creek trailhead rather than Lost Park trailhead is that Ute Creek is on a paved highway, whereas the Lost Park trailhead is at the end of a 20 mile gravel road. This is a decently maintained gravel road, that nearly any car can travel. The disadvantage of Ute Creek is that it ads several miles and a lot of vertical to your hike.
Thank you for this video!! As a 27 yr old with a degree, do you think it is better to enlist or go officer?
Im 31 going on 32 im joining soon and talking to a recruiter this week!
Looks beautiful out there! ❄️
Sounds good.
Didn’t say hi because I was nervous, but I enjoyed your diversity presentation at ALS a couple weeks ago. I have been watching your videos for about 6 years now.
Thank you Matt. Let’s do lunch if you want. My treat.
@@yourmilitarymoney that would be great! It will probably be first or second week of April because I have a lot going on right now. I’ll email you my phone number via military email.
Thank you!

Im 34 man,.. i have a 3 year old and although I’d like to go active,.. reserves might be the way to go.. anyone else possibly went active duty while having small kids.? Care to share your experience? I am divorced but im thinking about my kid, she’s closer to me than the mom.
Im 34 and I have a child,.. I don’t want to go active for that reason. Is there a possible way to be reserve, while at nearby base.. but working like a full time job where u get to go home to see your child?? Man I really want to do enlist
I’m 38 and I decided to join they told me to get my GED and almost done now I have to pass my ASVAB test, I’m really excited but is hard for me because I have a house kids and everyone at home are scared about the big change.
Hello Sir, would you happen to know where I could start with possibly making the switch from active duty to AGR. I’m about 1 1/2 away from DOS. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!
Good morning Hugo, planning a FL trip for May (near Tampa). Planning on my full retirement (31 yr civ serv), dec '28 also. Doing much better mentally/physically. Sugar=bad for me. FAA work has been good, but I want to enjoy retirement while I'm able. Minnie is happier when we get out for walks; yesterday, went to our favorite park, she passed out riding home (she's 12). I'm going to my favorite art museum this morning. I've worked hard all my life for my 'financial bank'. My 'memory bank' is severely lacking. Thanks for your videos.
Thank you for your service! I have a question: How do you resign from the Air Force?

No one can tell you how many people have been vaccinated against the delta

I was there as a teenager, 6th through 11th grades, 1958-1964, the most formative years of my life. Each frame of this clip brings back a flood of memories. Some changes (all the Wherry housing torn down, plus the senior NCO quarters I lived in near the flight line), but the overall classic Spanish architecture has been maintained. Clearly "the Showcase of the Air Force." I hope it preserved for many more years.
Thank you so much for being on RUclips Hugo! Thanks to you I learned good personal finance and who Dave Ramsey is and the formula.
Thank you for watching!
How? The airforce is so freaking picky
I thank my deceased dad for being career military which allowed us to live on Randolph for 4 years in the 60's. Despite the bad decision changes over the years (poor updating of houses and cutting down all the historic oaks at Eberly Park) that base is still magical as far as the beauty of its historic architecture and the trees. The Taj (admin building 100) used to have banana trees around the base of it and multi-colored lights shining up on the side walls at night. Going around Washington Circle at night in the family car I couldn't take my eyes off of it. 🥰
